Leader Training
WILD (Women’s Intensive Leadership Development) is a ten-week training curriculum developed by Iva May to equip women’s ministry leaders to mentor women multi-generationally. WILD prepares women to mentor relationships joyfully by:
- Enlarging their view of God as they see and experience the relevancy of the Biblical stories for daily life
- Developing healthy multi-generational relationships with other women
- Deepening their understanding of God’s Story
- Seeing the value of Chronological Bible Discipleship as a 21st Century discipleship tool
- Learning the ‘big’ story of the Bible & how to communicate that story to others
- Assisting others to understand and take their place in His story
Paul writes, “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect (Romans 12:2, NLT).”
WILD seeks to answer the following questions:
- What characterizes a secular worldview?
- How do believers resist conformity to the world?
- What does that resistance entail?
- How does changing the way you think about yourself, God, and the world affect your behavior?
- What is a Biblical worldview?
- How do the Biblical narratives develop a Biblical worldview?
